Wabash Pastoral Leadership Program Music Workshop
Members of this year’s Wabash Pastoral Leadership Program (WPLP) cohort joined James Makubuya, professor of music and Wamidan ensemble director, and learned how to play various percussion instruments on May 15, 2024, in Salter Hall. The goal of the workshop was to educate members on African music and culture ahead of their trip to Ghana.
The Wabash Pastoral Leadership Program develops mid-career Indiana pastors by engaging them in substantive theological reflection on many complex social issues facing contemporary Christian congregations. It provides a teaching and learning venue for pastoral leaders that has practical significance for their lives and the well-being of the communities they serve.
